Organ Resources This exciting new pipe organ, the gift of a single donor, features striking casework designed to reflect the style and motifs of the stained glass in the sanctuary. The console, constructed of solid birch painted white, incorporates rosewood sharps, eucalyptus burl wooden stop jambs with holly and ebony divider strips, and solid cherry piston and coupler rails, all finished in high gloss. The organ is situated in a room which offers little in the way of acoustic support, so the addition of an Antiphonal division helps with both congregational singing and the performance of solo literature. The easily movable console permits great flexibility for use in both worship and concert, allowing for a variety of spatial arrangements with the choirs and handbell ensembles which make up the music program at Palm City Presbyterian Church. |
