Casavant Op. 2086 |
||||
This two manual and pedal organ was built by the Casavant firm in 1951 and has been professionally removed and stored. It is available for immediate installation as is, or additions (either pipe or digital) may be made as a part of the relocation and re-installation. One interesting and unusual feature of this organ is the separate enclosure of three of the Great stops, the Dulciana, Melodia and Rohr Flute, in a swell box of their own. This considerably increases the flexibility of this otherwise modest instrument. The organ is free-standing and will not require chamber space, although it could be adapted for use with existing chamber(s) if desired. Stop control is by means of drawknobs, couplers are on tilting tablets. The combination action’s Generals are controlled by toe studs (no pistons); divisionals for the Great and Swell are on thumb pistons. No General Cancel is provided.
