Salisbury, NC
St. Luke’s Episcopal
This beautiful instrument is housed in a custom-designed towered case on the Epistle side of the Nave, just beyond the Chancel. While the location isn’t ideal acoustically, it mirrors the placement of the previous Casavant organ, and the limited footprint of the church offered no viable alternative.
Despite the challenges, the organ speaks with clarity and blends well within the space. The installation includes an Echo division that helps project the main organ throughout the room. The result is a well-balanced instrument that provides strong support for the liturgy and performs a wide range of repertoire with confidence and color.
