Current Opportunities
Cabinet Shop
We seek an individual with mechanical aptitude and a desire to build a career in quality cabinet making. We will teach the craft as it applies to pipe organ building to a dependable, self-directed person who takes pride in precision, safety, and doing work right the first time.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Fabricate wood components and assemblies using woodworking machinery, power tools, hand tools, and established shop techniques.
• Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and specifications to produce work accurately and consistently.
• Learn and apply specialized pipe organ construction methods while developing proficiency in increasingly complex woodworking tasks.
• Maintain safe, organized, and efficient work practices while accurately recording time and work performed.
• Support installation activities including material handling, assembly, loading, and occasional travel to job sites.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Strong math skills, including fractions, and ability to read an inch ruler to 1/32”
• Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to learn and retain new skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Dependable, self-directed, and able to work effectively with others
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting to 50 lbs.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel

Organ Shop
Do you have basic mechanical skills? Do you enjoy learning, and want to learn a craft?
We seek an individual with basic mechanical skills and a desire to learn a specialized craft. We will teach a dependable, self-directed person who takes pride in precision, safety, and doing work right the first time. This position will learn the construction, wiring, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of custom pipe organs and their mechanical and electrical systems.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Construct and assemble pipe organs and components from drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Install, wire, and connect pipe organ components and equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pipe organs and their components.
• Perform renovations and modifications to existing instruments.
• Assist with tuning and other service work as needed.
• Travel to customer locations for installations, renovations, and service work.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Basic mechanical skills and good eye-hand coordination
• Good physical condition with good vision and hearing (natural or corrected)
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding, and work in confined spaces
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical systems
• Ability to accurately record time and work details
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently
• Ready to travel, as needed, to job sites for installations
• Good verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail and the ability to retain and apply what is learned
• A valid U.S. driver’s license

Creative Designer
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual with basic CAD skills and a reasonable understanding of mechanical and engineering principles. This individual will work closely with our current CAD designer to help develop complete pipe organ systems.
Creative casework designs will be developed to complement the architectural character and aesthetic goals of each installation. The ideal candidate will enjoy combining creativity with technical problem-solving to produce accurate, functional designs.

• Basic CAD skills (Rhino experience a plus)
