St. Giles Presbyterian

Richmond, VA
IV Manual Open Style Drawknob Console
150 Stop Controls
31 Coupler Controls
122 Ranks

This exquisite IV Manual Console has Maple Natural Key Coverings with custom made Rosewood Sharps. The action has been adjusted for a prompt firing and coordinated release.

The organ began life as as Moller Opus 8300 in 1952. It had since undergone two renovation/expansion efforts which failed to bring proper cohesion to the ensembles and the instrument overall.

In the current effort, various actions are being replaced, tonal additions made and the complete instrument undergoing a tonal revision. The end result is finally an instrument that provides quality ensembles, expansive dynamic range, cohesive character and overall stability.
