This wonderful E.M. Skinner instrument had fallen into disrepair over the years. R.A. Colby was elected to totally renovate the instrument and provide a new IV Manual Console with Peterson Solid State to control the instrument.

The entire organ was removed and returned to our factory for renovation. The original E.M. Skinner instrument had many tonal additions and modification during a 1971 renovation. Our effort including a complete review of the tonal scheme of the instrument to return it to original character while incorporating the 1971 expansions. Rescaling and revoicing instrument was the focal point of the reinstallation.

The instrument now proudly serves the congregation at Washington Street United Methodist Church and will continue to do so for decades to come.
