Christ Church Presbyterian

R. A. Colby completed a significant renovation of the organ at Christ Presbyterian Church in Dalton, Georgia. The project included enclosing the Positif division to create a second expressive division, allowing for greater dynamic control and flexibility within the instrument.

The organ was also fully revoiced, and a new four-manual custom console was built to support the expanded tonal and functional requirements. Extensive digital additions were incorporated, including a new chancel division designed to broaden the instrument’s musical capabilities.

Consultant Samuel Metzger provided guidance on tonal design and musical direction throughout the project.
