A comprehensive analysis of the organ revealed that the original chamber placement did not provide optimal tonal egress into the sanctuary. In addition, several scaling inconsistencies limited the instrument’s ability to achieve its full tonal potential.

To address these concerns, key divisions were strategically relocated to improve projection and tonal presence throughout the sanctuary. The pipework was carefully rescaled, and new ranks were added where necessary to complete and enrich the instrument’s tonal ensembles. To accommodate the expanded specification, a custom five-manual console was crafted and installed.

A new Gallery Organ was also created to work seamlessly with the main instrument while providing outstanding support for the liturgy and congregational singing. In the chancel, a new Hooded Trumpet finished in flamed copper was added to project directly into the nave, enhancing both clarity and brilliance.

To further expand the organ’s tonal resources, a digital Celestial Division was provided. Speaking from the center ceiling, this division can be spatially positioned from Gallery to Chancel, creating a remarkable sense of movement and dimension throughout the sanctuary. The result is an instrument of exceptional versatility, offering a wide range of tonal color and expressive possibilities.
