St. William Catholic Church

R. A. Colby carried out a comprehensive renovation and redesign of the organ at St. William’s Roman Catholic Church. The entire instrument and its casework were removed from the sanctuary to allow for a complete visual and mechanical transformation.

The redesigned organ incorporates newly carved architectural elements in a distinctive two-tone finish, complementing the church’s interior while reflecting Colby’s meticulous craftsmanship. Digital voices were integrated with the restored pipework, expanding the organ’s tonal resources and versatility for both liturgical and concert use. A new custom console, designed to match the visual redesign, completes the installation.
