The Moody Church

R. A. Colby was commissioned by the curator of The Moody Church organ to design a new four-manual, low-profile French terrace console for this prestigious location.  The console was created to give the organist clear visibility across the stage while maintaining a minimal visual footprint within the worship space.

Its subtle lines and dark finishes were chosen to keep the focus on the chancel rather than the surrounding appointments, allowing the console to integrate naturally into the church’s architectural setting.
