University Baptist Church

University Baptist Church in Austin, Texas hired R.A. Colby to rebuild and modernize their sanctuary organ as part of a major renovation in 2022. Colby provided a new two-manual drawknob console, rescaled and revoiced existing pipework, added new ranks, and integrated digital voices from Walker Technical Company. The instrument, completed in 2023, now offers the tonal resources of more than 4,000 pipes. It supports a wide range of repertoire and plays a central role in the church’s worship and music programming.
