Buffalo, NY

Westminster Presbyterian Church

R. A. Colby completed a comprehensive renovation of the main Skinner instrument at this prestigious Buffalo church.  The main organ received a full electrical renovation and was augmented to broaden its tonal and functional capacity.  A new chancel organ was installed to allow instruments to speak from both ends of the room.

Two new, custom-designed and identical five-manual consoles were built for the project. Their configuration allows the organist to perform from either the chancel or the balcony, with complete control of the entire instrument from both positions. This dual-console design also enables duet performance when required.
