Church of the Redeemer

Baltimore, MD
IV Manual Custom Console
141 Stops
32 Couplers
115 Ranks

This impressive expansion of an existing Austin Organ included a new pipe Antiphonal Division to support Congregational singing in the main nave. The Austin Organ is located in the transept on the epistle side of the church providing less than optimal support.

The main organ was greatly expanded in both the harmonic and dynamic range. A Solo division was added to provide additional tonal reach from the transept. The new installation greatly improves the support of both the Choir and Congregational singing.

The new console is movable and may be brought to the center of the chancel on the main floor for recital work when required.
